This cropped oversized hooded puffer jacket is made of a hydrochromic fabric: when dry it stays solid, with a barely-there tone-on-tone spot pattern. Just one drop of water and the leopard print appears sharp on the surface, then fades on its own as the jacket dries. The outer fabric is water-repellent, so water beads up and rolls off without reaching the thermal padding inside, which keeps you warm even on the coldest days. Wide padded hood, high collar, front zip with snap buttons, elastic cuffs and side pockets.

How does the color changing puffer jacket work?
The outer fabric has a hydrochromic finish. When it touches water, the wet area changes how it reflects light and the leopard print becomes visible within seconds. When the fabric dries, the pattern hides again.

Does the leopard effect stay forever?
No, and that is the point. It is activated by rain, snow, splashes or even just a wet finger run across the fabric, and it disappears on its own once dry. You can repeat it as many times as you like.

Is the puffer jacket waterproof?
The fabric is water-repellent: water forms droplets and rolls off instead of soaking in. It handles light rain and snow without wetting the padding inside. It is not designed for a prolonged downpour.

What is the difference between the two blacks?
Black leopard has only the water-reactive print. Black rhinestone also has a micro-application of rhinestones across the whole jacket, hood included, which makes it sparkle even when dry. The price is the same.
