FAQ

How do waist tightener clips work?
Push them through the fabric of the waistband, fold the excess fabric and hook the button on the other side. The back fastener snaps shut and holds. No needle, thread or tools needed.

Do they damage jeans?
No. The pin slips between the fibers without cutting them, just like a thin safety pin. Once the clip is removed, the fabric goes back to how it was. Best avoided on very delicate or very thin fabrics.

How much do they take in?
Roughly up to two sizes, depending on how much fabric you can fold. On rigid jeans you gain a real 4-6 cm at the waist.

Why a set of 4 pairs and not just one?
Because a single one always ends up on the wrong piece. With four pairs you can leave one on your favorite jeans, one on your skirt, and still have spares. It is also why the set costs much less than four pairs bought separately.

Can you see them under a T-shirt?
The button sits at the front of the waistband: with a T-shirt tucked in it shows, and it is meant to be seen. With your top untucked it disappears completely and only the function remains.

Can they be washed with the jeans?
Better to remove them before washing, especially those with rhinestones or pearls. The metal holds up, but the finishes last much longer if they stay out of the washing machine.

Do they work on all waistbands?
Yes on rigid waistbands like those of jeans and classic trousers. They do not grip on elastic waistbands or very stretchy fabrics.
